Don’t get confused!

Searching for your wedding dress can be the most AMAZING experience that you have always dreamt of but it also can be really stressful and confusing, obviously you want to have an amazing experience, so here are a few tips that I have learnt over the years.

Find your style…..what I mean by that is, know if you are wanting to have a formal, structured type of wedding or a relaxed more informal wedding. This will reflect what type of dress you look for and in turn make it easier to choose which dress shops you want to book appointments with.

Finding the right shop is a must, our advice is look at their Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook account and see if you connect with their images, ask yourself if you can see that dress in your chosen venue, is this the image/style you want to create? Do your homework on the designers the boutique stocks and make sure that this is the right style for you.

Who to take with you to your appointment? To many options can really confuse you, no matter how strong a person you are, you value and respect all of your friends/families opinions who you invite to your appointment (if not you wouldn’t invite them). However too many people can really confuse you and have the opposite effect of what you intended, so its always nice to keep your bridal party to 2-4 people, so once you have decided on the type of store and booked your appointments, now decide who you would like to take with you.

Stay strong and true to your style, whilst at your appointment, always remember what type of feel/look you want to achieve for your wedding day. Be true to yourself and explain who you are and what you and your partner want from the day.

Remember the most important thing of all is that you feel comfortable and confident to enjoy the whole day and you can dance long into the evening.
